August 3, 2004 - C.R.C. Denies Access to Shabat Letter to Rabbi Schwartz The Av Beit Din of the C.R.C., Rabbi Schwartz, officially denies access to the important February 11, 2001, Danny Shabat letter to Rabbi Schwartz. The text of the
written request for access, and the C.R.C. "explanation" for
denying access, is posted here at

CoverUp of Fraudulent Excommunication". A FollowUp Letter from ProjectTruth/Aaron Thomas was sent today to the 2423 Chicago Acheinu members, to provide important information augmenting the original letter of five weeks ago. Most of the information provided, already appears on this web-site, but it became apparent that most of the Acheinu members don't have internet access. It also became apparent that without this information, the Public Opinion procedure would be ineffective. Also, documentation was provided evidencing my cooperation with Rabbi Fuerst's summons to Beit Din. Many Chicagoans were concerned that the original letter violated the Laws of Loshon Horah; so excerpts from the ArtScroll Series Chofetz Chaim - Lesson a Day, were provided to demonstrate that the concern was basically misplaced. A replacement CPA Verified Return Envelope was also provided for those who did not deem it correct to send in the original stamped CPA Verified Return Envelope; but who after examining the follow-up letter now deem it correct to participate in this important procedure. Mr. Israel Katz, CPA, will report the results on this web-site when the flow of response ends. P.S. For technical reasons, the intended "scan" of this follow-up
letter won't be posted on this web-site until Wednesday, August 18.
Discovery: In February 2001, Danny Shabat fraudulently induced Rabbi Schwartz of the C.R.C. to confirm in writing the C.R.C.'s recognition of Rabbi Fuerst's excommunication! You ask: How could the C.R.C. give Aaron Thomas permission to maintain a claim in civil court and simultaneously honor Rabbi Fuerst's excommunication condemning Aaron Thomas for "blasphemously suing the Shabats in civil court"?! Possible Answer? Cleverness of Danny Shabat. Here's how it would have worked: Immediately after Rabbi Fuerst issued the fraudulent Excommunication three-and-a-half years ago, and before Aaron Thomas sounded the alarm, Danny Shabat cleverly sought to pre-emptively provide vindication for the Excommunication. So Danny asked Rabbi Schwartz (in writing) if the C.R.C. was honoring a "siruv" order reportedly issued by Rabbi Fuerst against Aaron Thomas for refusing to appear before Rabbi Fuerst's Beit Din. Apparently, Danny concealed from Rabbi Schwartz that the "siruv" was actually issued against Aaron Thomas for "blasphemously suing the Shabats in civil court." The unsuspecting Rabbi Schwartz wrote back to Danny, that the C.R.C. honors the "siruv" imposed by the Beit Din of Rabbi Fuerst. Access to Danny Shabat's February 11, 2001, letter to Rabbi Schwartz, is being requested from the C.R.C. See the details at
"CoverUp of
Fraudulent Excommunication". Rabbi Menachem Rosenfeld, the former menahel of the C.R.C. Beit Din, has issued a letter confirming Aaron Thomas' adherence to the C.R.C. Beit Din's halachic instructions throughout the limited proceedings in civil court. Recall that Rabbi Fuerst's Excommunication Order banished Aaron Thomas for blasphemously suing the Shabats in civil court! Additionally, in the letter, Rabbi Rosenfeld publicizes Rabbi Fuerst's private declaration invalidating himself from judicial action in matters such as Thomas v. Shabat. Rabbi Rosenfeld's letter is
published here at "
Evidence From the C.R.C." The former
director of the Chicago Rabbinical Council Beit Din has stated that the
Rabbi Fuerst excommunication was a serious injustice, and he is in the
process of issuing a written statement verifying the C.R.C. permission
given to Aaron Thomas to proceed in civil court against the Shabats.
Apparently, the Chicago Jewish Community is still grappling with this situation. While the "return envelopes" continue to steadily come in, more than half are still being held back. Mr. Israel Katz, CPA, has decided to delay his July 9, 2004, publishing of the results until the flow of response has ended. Please reread the letter and

Truth. Error #1) The last page reads "Take a Stand." It should say, "Please reread this letter and Take a Stand." Responding to concerned questions from Chicago and elsewhere, it becomes obvious that even the brevity of the Letter to the Community does not insure that relevant facts are automatically retained. Error #2) The last page reads "See www.ProjectTruth.info for additional pertinent information..." It should say, "See www.ProjectTruth.info for additional very pertinent information..."
