Although the following letter of Rabbi Menachem Rosenfeld (presently
Rabbi of Congregation Ahavat Achim, Fair Lawn, New Jersey) doesn't
address all the details and issues mentioned by Aaron Thomas
in the report "C.R.C.
Permission for Civil Suit"...
Rabbi Rosenfeld's
letter to Rabbi Greenblatt does conclusively refute the notion of
"Aaron Thomas blasphemously suing the Shabats in civil court"
which is the stated basis of Rabbi Fuerst's Excommunication Order.
Importantly, in this letter, Rabbi Rosenfeld also publicizes Rabbi Fuerst's
private declaration invalidating himself from judicial action in matters
such as Thomas v. Shabat.
